With Thanksgiving behind us and the holiday season ahead, it is helpful to look back with gratitude on what we have.
Gottlieb & Gottlieb is very grateful for our community of wonderful clients, as well as our network of dedicated professionals who help them get great results.
I'm grateful that we exist in a time where a process exists that guarantees the educational rights of students with special needs. Those students are now able to get educated alongside their peers and be included in the process of learning and development.
This wasn't always the case in the United States. It still isn't the case in some parts of the world. Without taking away from the daily struggles and hardships of our clients, it might be helpful to look at what's going on in our local communities — and be grateful.
It's an imperfect system in an imperfect society, but we're working hard to achieve greater justice and more meaning in the lives of our clients and their kids. And so I'm thankful that we're able to live and work in a society that has a role for advocates of people with special needs.
